This hotel really exceeded my expectations in so many ways. the value for money was fantastic, especially considering the spacious rooms and the attention to detail. The location was also a highlight, nestled between the breathtaking autumn colors of the mountains in the Green Mountains area. Additionally, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring that our stay was pleasant from start to finish. Lastly, the breakfast included in our rate was delicious and a great way to start the day.
All aspects of our stay were more than satisfactory.

Room was good sized, bigger then in most Stowe hotels. There was a great dining option, Doc Ponds only 900 feet from the hotel: D

The staff here were friendly and the service was quick. the prices were fair and not too expensive. Free WiFi was a plus and really came in handy. We would definitely come back and suggest it to others. 👍

Great location. Walk to village. Ski resort nearby. Paved path for activities. Nice owner. Cheery atmosphere.
Nothing could have been better.

The food at the restaurant was good, staff pleasant, service slow even at a low capacity but I guess when you go to the country side better get used to it.. Complimentary cookies and hot apple cider was a nice touch in the middle of the afternoon. Peanut butter cookies not my favorite, but they were fresh, and this can be consider a personal preference why not sugar cookies or chocolate chip cookies, perhaps it will have a broader appeal. I chose this hotel for the convenience of being at the same place as were a private event I was attencing was taking place. Also it was the best rate compared to Green Mountain hotel right on main street in town.
I thought the hotel needs to get a lift/ update, especially the red carpet throughout the entrance and upstairs. Gave me the impression of being in an old funeral parlor. Lighting on the main lobby/seating area was very dimmed. Room size was tight. Pillows in the bedroom not plush. Lock in bedroom 21 has problems, you have to maneuver quite a bit to lock it. The room doesn't even offer a table where you can sit a cup of coffee or cookies. I did not find the room charming, Wall paper in the bedroom is very tired to say the least. Perhaps most people staying here go skiing and basically just use the hotel to crash at night. All the beer jars & accesories hanging on the ceiling needs to be dusted free.

How comfortable the beds were, we slept like royalty.
As soon as we arrived we were starving so we went to the restaurant and waited about 25 mins to be seated but no one was there so we left. All the waitstaff saw us but seemed to busy to stop.

The hotel's location was fantastic. We could easily walk to the nearby village with its charming small shops and dining options. The ski resort was just a few miles away and accessible by car. We loved how the hotel was situated between the mountains, which were ablaze with autumn colors. It was a beautiful sight to behold. Additionally, there was an 11-mile paved path right across the street from the hotel, perfect for running, walking, or cycling. We also appreciated the convenience of having a pizza joint and breakfast spot right across the street. The owner of the hotel was incredibly nice and always had a cheerful attitude.
Nothing negative to say.

The food and drinks were tasty and varied, and the location was convenient for holiday festivities and exploring the area. The cozy atmosphere was appreciated, and the fireplace provided a nice touch. the staff was professional and attentive.
Our room wasn't up to par, with small windows and uncomfortable seating. The bathroom was unpleasant and not functional.

Everything we wanted was in the Inne and main street Stowe was walking distance, crucial as we were only there one day.

room was good - apart from a plumbing problem. Hotel and facilities are fine, although staff a bit off-hand
restaurant - service was poor / non existent ( I waited an hour for food to arrive - when it did arrive it wasn't what I ordered) Also significantly overpriced.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming country inn nestled in the beautiful Green Mountains area. The hotel's attention to detail was evident from the moment I arrived. The cozy rooms were tastefully decorated and featured a four-post bed that provided a wonderfully peaceful night's sleep. To top it off, the breakfast, which was included with our rate, was absolutely delicious.
All in all, my experience at this hotel was fantastic. I couldn't fault anything.

The Ye olde England Inne is just as the name describes, it is a typical English Inn. The hotel staff are great and very helpful. The facilities are decent. There is a pool and hot tub niether of which we used due to the weather. The pub is excellent serving great regional and international beer. The restaurant is nice and serves excellent meals. The Inn is an excellent location. The motorway is near by as are the attractions such as Mt Mansfield and ben and Jerry's factory. There are some very nice restaurants within 10 minutes driving distance from the hotel.
The only think about this Inn is that the room we had was dated. It wasnt the most expensive hotel in stowe but I expected something slightly more updated. Also we had no airconditioning as it had been taken out, as it was september it was ok but in summer I can imagine it being very uncomfortable. Also there is no lift in the main Inn so could be difficult if you have lots of luggage.
